Well anyway, laban ni Alex mamaya, kailangan kong maagang umuwi.

Ah! Noong opening manonood sana kami pero hindi natuloy.

First player in 8 years to win BPC from a team not in Finals

A remarkable performance in the Gran Matador Brandy-PBA Philippine Cup has earned Danny Seigle the Best Player of the Conference award.
Ironically, the award came as a surprise for the San Miguel All-Star forward, who wished he's still playing. The 6-foot-7 Seigle garnered 1,216 out of the possible 1,440 media votes and won pulling away with a total of 2,532 votes.
"I'm a bit surprised I won because normally this award is reserved for players who are in the Finals," said Seigle, who won the honor at the expense of three candidates disputing the coveted Most Valuable Player trophy.
Purefoods shooting guard James Yap, the MVP race leader and the players' choice with 663 votes, wound up second with a 1,629 total. Red Bull center Enrico Villanueva was third with 724 votes followed by Purefoods power forward Marc Pingris with 654 votes.
"I'm still disappointed up to now. Since day one, my goal was for the team to win the championship. How I wished I'm still playing," Seigle said. The Beermen, who lost in the one-game battle for third place against Alaska last Wednesday, missed the Finals after losing to the Red Bull Barakos in seven games in their semifinal series.
It was the second time the 30-year old won conference MVP honors. He first won in 1999 when SMB captured the Governors Cup and the same year he went on to end the season by winning the Rookie of the Year trophy. Seigle caught the attention of many this conference by scoring 20-plus points in 19 consecutive games – an all-time record among locals.
Seigle averaged a second conference-best 24.7 points – which was next only to the 25.3 ppg of Barangay Ginebra’s Mark Caguioa, a 12th-best 9.2 rebounds and three assists this conference. But for the first time in his career, Seigle failed to score 1,000 points in a season, falling 118 points shy.
Seigle became only the seventh player to have won the Best Player of the Conference award at least twice and only the third Beermen after Danny Ildefonso (five) and Nelson Asaytono (two). The other previous conference MVP winners were Alvin Patrimonio (three), Vergel Meneses (three), Kenneth Duremdes (two) and Jerry Codinera (two).In 34 conferences since the award was first handed out in 1994, Seigle became only the third player to win the Best Player of the Conference award despite of his team not making it to the Finals – after Asaytono in the 1997 All-Filipino Cup and Codinera in the 1998 Governors Cup. For the first time, makakapanood din ako ng "live" sa PBA, makakapanood pa lang naman kasi pinili namin yung papanoorin namin.Sa April 2, laban nun ng Gin kings at Alaska, then SMB at TNT.!!!!!!!:D hahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nanalo kagabi yung dalawang team ko; Purefoods at Talk 'n Text. Unang talo ng Coca-Cola galing sa Talk 'n text, parang medyo nakaka-disappoint yun sa coke dahil sila ang nangu-nguna sa standings tapos ang talk 'n text pangalawa sa huli ni hindi nga sila naka-tabla. Ang pinaka mababang lamang ay 2pts., pinaka mataas naman 22pts. yata.

Talo Talk 'n text. Nakakainis. Pero ok lng meron pa naman Purefoods at Ginebra.Well, kahapon jan.22,06 may laban.4:00,Purefoods vs. Air21. Pagdating ng 3rd qtr. uminit ng husto ang laban. Sa pagitan ni Chandler(purefoods) at David(air21). Na-steal kasi ni David eh! siguro ayaw ni Chandler na pumuntos uli ang Air21. Habang abala yung ibang mga players sa pagtakbo sa kabilang court abala na palang nag rarambulan yung dalawa.ang daming umawat. Yung dalawang coach, si Bullfrog(tawag namin kay Arboleda). Kaya yun ang daming nakuhang foul. Tig-dalawang inplant foul ba yun sina Chandler at David tig-isa uli silang technical fouls,tig-isang technical fouls din yung dalawang coach at isang technical foul din kay Arboleda kasi nakialam daw sila. Nagreklamo nga yung coach ng Air21 kasi inaawat lang naman daw nila. Dyos ko nakakaloka ang nangyari kagabi sa laban dahil dun.
